With over 52 years of legal experience, including having been a United States Magistrate Judge, as well as a Federal and State Criminal Prosecutor, in addition to many years in private practice, I am able to provide competent and thoughtful, but assertive, legal services in federal, state, and local courts. I am licensed to practice law in Louisiana, as well as Texas, and can practice law in most other jurisdictions on a pro hac vice basis.

I am a second generation lawyer; both my father and older brother were lawyers for many years before they, as my dearly departed mother would say, went to their reward.  My father mentored me and my siblings that the most important thing to do in life is to be honorable and honest, no matter what. Honorable and honest is what has defined my life of 77 years and my 52-year legal career, in addition to the fact that every single one of my clients is my most important client.
